Conservation of 17th Century Manor
Chelvey Court is a Grade II listed, early 17th century manor house, situated in the tiny hamlet of Chelvey, about ten miles from the centre of Bristol. The project has seen, over a period of seventeen years, the careful conservation of buildings and land so that four large family homes now exist within the space previously occupied by one family.
The main house has been seamlessly split into two homes and two new homes have been created in adjoining agricultural buildings.
Keith Hallett has created and overseen every step of the project, ensuring that the patina of antiquity remains untarnished by restoration.
